Smartypants Saturday no.3


This has been floating around the blogosphere for a while now, but in case you haven't seen it, here's an animation showing how a bobbin works.  I don't have a very mechanical mind, so I find stuff like this very helpful!

    LOVE this illustration!! I may post on my own blog - with reference to this one! :) I am new to the crafting-blogging-world... but i have been sewing for many years - creating stuff for my family and friends. I have always wondered exactly how a sewing machine works - and this tells me!! :D THANKS
